U6: Our U6 boys had a fun filled training session this Saturday and big congrats to the players of the week: From the left: Tyler O' Leary, Fionn Phelan, Garvan Kearney.
U7: Our U7s took to the pitch at half time in the Senior fixture in Páirc Uí Rinn. What a momentous occasion for the boys! The excitement was written all over their faces as they took to the pitch, and they absolutely loved every minute of it!
U11: Our U11 boys played away to Mallow in their final league match on Friday evening. Congrats to this team with a win on the night. They now top their group. U12: On 01st Sep Sars took on Aghada. The game ended in a draw. The U12 boys were out again two nights later to take on Ballincollig. Result: Loss Ending off a busy week Sars took on Mallow on 03 Sep. Result: Loss
U13: On Sep 01st the U13'stravelled to Ballincollig to take on the home team. Result: Win.
U14: U14 Championship Final was played on 05th Sep. Result: Loss
U16: On 31st Aug Sars U 16s took on Erin's Own in Championship in Caherlag. Result: Win On 03 Sep Sars took on Eire Og in Kiely Park. Result: Loss
Adult News: Intermediate A: It was an action packed weekend for our adult teams. The fantastic result being 4 /4 across the grades. The Intermediate A game took place on Friday night in Ballyhooley with Ballygiblin the opposition. Result Win Sars 3:19 Ballygiblin 1:16. This win puts the Intermediate A team through to a Semi Final. Junior A: Goals Galore!! Travelling to Youghal on Saturday night for a late throw in Sars proved too strong on the night for Dungourney. Result: Sars 5:15 Dungourney 4:14 .
Junior C: Junior C Hurling Championship continued on Sunday morning at Páirc Tadhg Mac Cárthaigh versus Cobh. Result Win. Sars 0: 18 Cobh 0:13. Sars finished top of their group.
Senior:
The final group game was played in Páirc Uí Rinn and it was a must win affair for Sars. Sars came out on top and now progress to the quarter finals, taking on Kanturk @3.30pm in Mallow on 20th September.
