Sarsfields Uner 10s had two teams participating in the Brendan Walsh U10 Tournament at Glen Rovers today.

The A team in the first match beat a very strong Mount Sion team by a point in a very tight match, in their second game they beat Durlas Og (Thurles) to qualify for the Semi Final against Glen Rovers. Despite being ahead by a point at half time they conceded a couple of late goals.

The B team also played really well and beat Mount Sion and Durlas Og in their groups games to qualify for the Semi against Glen Rovers. They beat the Glen by three goals to qualify for the final versus James Stephens Kilkenny. The final was a tight game with James Stephens winning with a couple of late scores.
The lads played their hearts out and showed great skill and determination and it will stand to them in the future.
