Just a short few months back a real sense of sadness descended over Sars when the news came through of the passing of one of our great club men Gearóid Duggan.

Over many year Gearóid gave tremendous service to Sars as a player, administrator and Team manager and most recently our Child Welfare Officer.

So our Annual Poc Fada will aptly here forth be names the Gearóid Duggan Memorial Poc Fada in honour of a superb sportsman and true gentleman of our club.

Action gets under way at 10:30 am on St. Stephen’s morning from O’Connell Group on the New Line Brooklodge.

Registration from 10 am and is open to everyone.

Categories: Adult Hurling & Camogie, Juvenile Hurling & Camogie and Family.

Adults: €10 each and €5 for Under 16s.

Refreshments after in Club Pavilion followed by prize giving for each category.
