Congratulations to our Premier U21 squad who captured the County Title at Pairc Ui Chaoimh 4G pitch today. Credit to both teams who served up a fine hour's hurling, with a late goal from the outstanding Liam Healy ensuring the title returned to Riverstown this evening. A trojan team effort with Captain Jack O'Connor hammering home the all important opening goal midway through the second half. Credit also to Manager Ray Ryan and his mentors who put in a huge effort into the preparation of the panel. In the end the never say die spirit of this group surfaced again with Healy's tremendous strike. Well done to all involved in a great victory.
